As a service employee in the area of Local Services, Regional Services, you will have the opportunity to work with various tasks.

Our area is responsible for service tasks within cleaning, meals, and logistics. We primarily provide service at the region's three hospitals in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg, but also at health centers, Public Dental Service, and Regional Development.

As the Logistics unit is part of a new organization, you will become an important part of the development work. We are looking for someone who wants to develop, grow, and try different tasks.

As a service employee in Logistics, you will work with internal transports such as waste management, mail handling, goods handling, patient transports, e-service cards, textile management, and meal hosts.

The broad operations of Regional Services contribute to facilitating work for everyone within Region Örebro County. Our approximately 1000 employees work with IT support and development, properties, meals, logistics and cleaning services, medical technology, procurement, and administration. We are looking for someone who wants to work extra as a service employee at Karlskoga Hospital.

The work varies and can include meal management, material replenishment, patient transports, goods handling, laundry, truck driving, and vehicle transports. The position is social, at times physically demanding, and involves great responsibility. Working hours are scheduled for days and evenings, including weekends.

You will receive thorough training to feel secure and to ensure patient safety.

• Are at least 18 years old and have a driving license, at least category B
• Have a good command of the Swedish language in speech, reading comprehension, and writing.
• Have basic computer skills, meaning you can: use the main functions of word processing programs like Microsoft Word and spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel, send, read, and reply to emails in Outlook, search and manage information on the intranet.

Please note! It is a requirement that you can start working at 06:00 in the morning and be able to work weekends. Evening work may also occur on certain shifts.
